Announcement

Due to the rising costs required to manage the CSUF Cell Phone Program, the program will be ending on May 30th, 2023.
You must either cancel or transfer your line before May 30th or risk not having cell phone service when the program ends. If your plan was scheduled to end before the sunset date, we will be automatically extending it to May 30th so you have enough time to transfer.

If you have any questions please contact Ismael Tellez by phone at (657) 278-3486 or by email at phoneprogram@fullerton.edu.

How do I transfer my line out of the Cell phone program?

Unfortunately we are unable to process a phone order for existing clients.

How to Cancel my 2-year Service Agreement?

  • Normally, we do not allow cancellation of our 2-year service agreements but under extreme circumstances, we may be able to cancel an agreement if the client can fully pay off the remaining balance of their device.
    • If there is no remaining balance on a client's device; then canceling a service agreement is possible if a catastrophic life event has occurred.
      • Such as death, illness, or other situations that would necessitate the canceling of a Service Agreement.
      • IT Management approval would be necessary to cancel a Service Agreement.
    • Certain T-Mobile promotions and subsidies reduce the cost of a device but only if we keep the cellular line for 2 years.  When we cancel a line or move it off of our CSUF Accounts, we are charged a cancellation fee.  Those fees will need to be paid by our CSUF Cell Phone clients.
    • Verizon also has cancellation fees when we cancel a line or move it off of our accounts.  Depending on when a line is canceled those fees will need to be paid by the client who gets IT Management approval to end our CSUF Cell Phone Program Service Agreement.
    • CSUF IT does not collect fees for cancellations but we are not allowed to pay cancellation fees that our Cellular vendors charge us when a client needs to cancel or move their cellular line.

Please email PhoneProgram@fullerton.edu if you would like to inquire about cancellations.
