Chicano/Latino Graduation Celebration

Please join the Chicano/Latino Faculty and Staff Association members celebrate our graduates at the 20th Annual Chicano/Latino Graduation Celebration Ceremony.

Date: May 10, 2008

Time: 5:30 p.m.

Location: TSU, Pavilion ABC

General Admission: Free for Graduates; $30.00 per guest

Ticket Sales: April 15th through May 2nd at the CRC.

What does the general admission include?
The admission includes a full course meal and program.

How many tickets can I buy?
There are no limits to the number of tickets purchased. However, tickets are sold on a first-come first serve basis.

Can tickets be purchase at the door?
No.

What do I get for participating?
Participating students will receive a certificate and graduation sash.

How should I dress?
Business attire and/or semi-formal wear is recommended. Graduates please bring your cap and gown to the event.

What If I can't participate, can I still get my graduation gifts?
Students who cannot participate can purchase a sash for $25.00 upon availability at the CRC.

Can children attend the event?
Yes, children are welcome to attend. Tickets must be purchased for children 5 and over.

How is seating coordinated?
Seating is open and is on a first come, first serve basis. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to the event to select seating in a desired location.  Please do not reserve seats.

Do I have to be Chicano/Latino to participate?
No, you do not have to be Chicano/Latino to participate. All students are welcome to participate. 

What is the requirement to participate?
Participants must have an expected graduation date of Fall 2007, Spring 2008 and Summer 2008.

Can I still participate if I did not get an invitation in the mail?
All students who anticipate graduating in Fall 2007, Spring 2008 and Summer 2008 are invited to participate in the event. If a student did not receive an invitation and are graduating in Fall 07/Spring 08/Summer 08 you are still welcome to participate.
