PeopleSoft Student Self-Service (Student Center)

What Will Students Experience?

Students will use PeopleSoft Student Self-Service (Student Center) beginning March 2008 by clicking on the New Titan Online tab that will appear in the Student Portal on March 10th.  Students will continue to access the old  Titan Online for many functions as we transition to PeopleSoft over the next several months.  A link to the web tutorial is available in the Student Portal. You can also follow this link to the tutorial.

  • Summer 2008 registration and fee payment will be done using the old Titan Online
  • Fall 2008 registration and fee payment will be done using PeopleSoft's Student Center in the New Titan Online
  • Financial Aid information for the 2007/08 award year will be accessed from the old Titan Online
  • Financial Aid information for the 2008/09 award year will be accessed from PeopleSoft's Student Center in the New Titan online
  • Blackboard access will continue to be available from the Student Portal Blackboard tab

If you are unsure whether to use the old Titan Online or the New Titan Online, try the old Titan Online first.  If that functionality has transitioned to the New Titan Online, you will see information asking you to use the New Titan Online for that function.

Training for Faculty and Staff

Just prior to going live with new functionality in PeopleSoft, we identify who needs access to that functionality (based on current SIS+ security) and therefore who needs training. Emails are sent inviting those faculty and staff to training sessions.  Some training is in-person view-only, some is in-person hands-on, and some are web tutorials. Before receiving any in-person training, we require the completion of 2 web tutorials: Campus Solutions Basics, which gives an overview of how to navigate in PeopleSoft and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) policies. Training is already underway for Class Schedule and Admissions. Financial Aid training will start in February. More training will follow, but some training plans are still in progress. Training of back-office staff will be done by people working in that area. Training of staff in departmental and academic offices and training of faculty will be done by CMS staff trainers.
