Meet the Team
The CMS Human Resources team is comprised of individuals from the entire campus community including business analysts, subject matter experts, technical team members from the functional areas, and members from the CMS training & support team and the CMS technical team. Please take a moment to learn more about each business analyst and their role on the project.
Burklyn (Burt) Casey – CMS HR Business Analyst Lead. Burt’s primary role is to support upgrades and implementation. She comes to Cal State Fullerton from Cal Poly Pomona. She brings with her years of valuable PeopleSoft expertise gained from her positions as both the PeopleSoft Human Resources Technical Analyst and the PeopleSoft HR Functional Coordinator. Her duties at Pomona included serving as the conversion developer with the 2001 PeopleSoft HR implementation and as the functional coordinator on the PeopleSoft version 8 upgrade.
Kristin Cook – CMS HR Business Analyst. Kristin’s focus is the upgrade of the Part Time Faculty mod to 8.9. She has worked with PeopleSoft as the sole HRIS Analyst for the CMS implementation at CSU, San Marcos.
Valerie Cruz – CMS HR Business Analyst. Valerie provides production support for the entire HR application, which includes academic personnel, position management, report regulations, and ad-hoc querying & reporting. She is a former CMS HR student assistant and brings vital experience in customer support and mainframe support from her previous positions at Design Science, Inc. and Charles Schwab.
Stephanie Cuillier – Division of Administration and Finance Systems Analyst/Programmer. Stephanie is responsible for CMS Peoplesoft HR application development. In addition to her PeopleSoft assignments, Stephanie develops/supports campus-wide Payroll, Accounts Payable, and Financial Informed Filler forms. Stephanie also provides CIRS data requests and reports for various CSUF departments.
Kim Kee – CMS HR Business Analyst. Kim comes to us from CSU Long Beach where she has been involved with the CMS HR project providing documentation and end-user training. At CSUF, Kim was the Lead Documentation and Training Specialist and assisted with the Finance 8.4 implementation before becoming a business analyst for CMS HR in July 2007.
Edison Lim – Divisionof Administration and Finance CMS Systems Analyst. Edison is responsible for application development and production support of CMS PeopleSoft HR and is the conversion developer during the implementation phase. Edison has been the primary technical resource for all of CSUF’s HR information technology needs. A few examples of the many IT solutions Edison has developed or implemented for HR include the campus Kenaxa BrassRing recruitment system, Benefits-on-line from CalPERS, and the LearnerWeb training management system.
Sandra Sobel – Assistant CMS Project Director for HR. Sandra has invaluable experience with PeopleSoft technology. She was Senior HRIS Analyst at Ingram Micro where she was involved in the global implementation of several PeopleSoft e-applications. She was also a primary analyst responsible for production support. She served as a CMS HR Business Analyst at Cal State Fullerton prior to starting this role as Assistant CMS Project Director. In this important role, Sandra serves as the primary interface between various business units and IT teams. She is responsible for the functional development and support of CMS Project HRIS and IT systems including: PeopleSoft, Hyperion, File Net, Data Warehouse, Remedy service desk ticketing, and Microsoft Share Point as they relate to the ongoing PeopleSoft HRIS implementation. Additionally, she coordinates day to day assignments and management of the CMS HCM/HR project; works with the campus constituencies in determining and capturing campus HR systems needs; and works with the Human Resources and Payroll managers on deliverables and systems requirements.
CMS HR Implementation Partner
The CMS Human Resources project currently has three implementation partner consultants from IO Consulting, Inc., dedicated to the CMS HR 8.9 upgrade. Each consultant is dedicated to a different aspect of the upgrade. Please take a moment to learn more about each consultant and their role on the project.
Craig Powlen –
Craig has worked as a PeopleSoft/Oracle consultant for over 10 years in the area of Financials, Human Resources, Time & Labor, Labor Cost Distribution (LCD), and Student Administration. Though Craig has only been a member of the Io Consulting team for 6 months, he has worked as a consultant to various CSU campuses for the past 5 years. Here at Fullerton, Craig will serve as the LCD implementation consultant lead.
Conrad Stolarski –
Conrad has worked as a PeopleSoft/Oracle consultant for 11 years, in which 7 ½ of those years he worked at eight different CSU campuses. Conrad has been with Io Consulting for 5 ½ years in which he has worked on both the CMS Human Resources and Financials modules. At the Fullerton campus, Conrad has worked on the Tenure Tracking system, though his primary responsibility is to serve as a technical consultant to the LCD implementation.
