Message from Amir

There is lots of excitement in the CMS Project Team and HR offices with preparations to go live in August with campus-wide Self Service functionality and two pilots programs to test Distributed functionality for student worker and part-time faculty hiring.

All three CMS applications are underway as we start the 2005-06 academic year. The Student Administration project joined Human Resources and Finance as the third leg of the campus CMS implementation. Tom Enders, AVP of Enrollment Services and Student Implementation Chair at CSU Long Beach, recently spent a day here to discuss the academic advising module and miscellaneous technical issues with some 30 folks from across campus.

I appreciate the on-going commitment of steering committee members who evaluate and give direction to a wide range of important issues, and I welcome the newest members, who joined in July.
