Meet the Team
The CMS Human Resources team is comprised of individuals from the entire campus community including business analysts, subject matter experts, technical team members from the functional areas, and members from the CMS training & support team and the CMS technical team. Please take a moment to learn more about each business analyst and their role on the project.
Kristin Cook – Lead ERP Business Analyst. Kristin has been with Cal State Fullerton since October 2004 and was part of the original CMS HR implementation team. Prior to coming to Cal State Fullerton, Kristin supported and implemented PeopleSoft at Cal State San Marcos, Dielectric, and Cadence Design Systems. As Lead ERP Business Analyst and CSUF, Kristin oversees all areas of the HR system working with the campus and Human Resources and Payroll managers on capturing campus HR systems needs and developing deliverables and system requirements. She is also responsible for all Human Resources and Student Administration integration activities and provides support to the Scheduling and Analytical Studies office for APDB reporting.
Kim Kee - ERP Business Analyst. Kim provides support to the CMS HR modules including Academic Personnel, Position Management, Time and Labor, Labor Cost Distribution, Part-Time Faculty, Security, Query and Reporting. In addition to supporting CMS HR, Kim also supports other ERP applications such as FileNet and Data Warehouse. Kim has been at Fullerton since 2004 where she initially began as an Admin Analyst in Admissions and Records eventually moving over to Information Technology as a Trainer for CMS HR and Finance. In 2005, Kim was promoted to Lead Documentation and Training Specialist before moving to a Business Analyst position in 2007. Kim brings years of PeopleSoft expertise to us from CSU Long Beach where she was involved with their CMS HR implementation project. Kim’s current focus is on the HR HCM upgrade to version 9.0 slated to go live in March of 2012.
Tami Lau – ERP Business Analyst. Tami joined the Fullerton campus in July 2008. Tami brings to Fullerton 10 years+ of CSU experience, primarily with Payroll and HR areas. Her former roles included Assistant to the Benefits Officer, HRIS Manager and Payroll Manager. She played a vital role in the successful implementation of the CMS HR Project at Long Beach, where she was also a member of the 2006 CSU System-wide Quality Improvement award winning team for the Self Service module. She was a member of the fit/gap and implementation team for Base Benefits, Develop Workforce, Administer Workforce and Temporary Faculty. Her knowledge and experience is not limited to the working applications of the CMS HR Modules but also to the CSU personnel and payroll policies, collective bargaining agreements, federal and state regulations that define the structure of the modules. Currently, Tami is responsible for the successful implementation of Absence Management which is slated to go-live on June 1, 2011.
Edison Lim – Division of Administration and Finance CMS Systems Analyst. Edison is responsible for application development and production support of CMS PeopleSoft HR and is the conversion developer during the implementation phase. Edison has been the primary technical resource for all of CSUF’s HR information technology needs. A few examples of the many IT solutions Edison has developed or implemented for HR include the campus Kenaxa BrassRing recruitment system, Benefits-on-line from CalPERS, and the LearnerWeb training management system. In addition to supporting HR, Edison is also currently responsible for supporting the Common Financial System (CFS), Check Printing, and Financial OBIEE Reporting.
Suchi Patel – HR Production Support Business Analyst. Suchi’s primary responsibilities are to provide production support for the Human Resources System. Her responsibilities include providing support and training for core users, monitoring the HR application, and partnering with the ERP Business Analysts to support upgrades and implementation of new functionality. In addition, she also collaborates with Subject Matter Experts to review and enhance business processes. Suchi joined CSUF in October 2007. Her prior experiences include supporting and implementing the PeopleSoft HR Application at DirecTV, Mattel and Countrywide.
