CMS Project Office Team

Chris Manriquez - CMS Project Director.  Chris joined the campus in 1995, becoming the IT Help Desk Director in 2001, a role which he currently maintains. He was appointed interim CMS Project Director in September 2005 and then appointed CMS Project Director in March 2006.  As CMS Project Director, Chris oversees all aspects of the CMS Project for Human Resources, Finance and Campus Solutions, including all administrative, technical, training and support functions.  Under his direction, the campus Help Desk has grown both in size and in scope of services to include call support, desk side support, workstation and peripheral implementations (rollouts), workstation security (anti-virus and service pack updates), and application software modification and releases projects.  Prior to joining CSU, Chris served as a regional coordinator and manager for a private firm that developed routing and navigational systems that were the predecessors to today’s in-vehicle and online directional systems. Chris earned both his MA and BA in Geography concentrating in Geographic Information Systems and Urban Planning from Cal State Fullerton.

Nicole Calucag - CMS Administrative Assistant.   In her new role, Nicole is the front-line contact for the CMS Project Office, in addition to acting as the CMS divisional IT coordinator and scheduling/coordinating CMS sessions.  In Spring 2006, Nicole graduated from CSUF with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration - Marketing.  Prior to her graduation, Nicole worked for a year and a half as a student assistant for the CMS Project. 

Pam Drummond - CMS Project Coordinator – Pam tracks CMS budget and expenditures and handles a variety of administrative tasks. She has been with CSUF for five years where she worked mostly with the Finance Division. She is proficient in several campus software applications including CashNet, BrioQuery, FRS, SIS+, and FileNet Document Imaging. Her previous 25 years of accounting and administrative experience include positions ranging from office manager to corporate controller.

Malisa Tsang Yee - CMS Administrative Support Coordinator. Malisa assists both the CMS Project Office, with focus on the Campus Solutions implementation, as well as the Department of Administrative Computing.  Prior to joining CSUF, she worked in the nonprofit sector in San Francisco, most recently as an executive assistant. Malisa has a BA in mass communications and social welfare.

CMS Technical Team

Joe Luzzi – Technical Lead for the CMS Project.  Joe manages a group of application developers and administrators supporting application programming for PeopleSoft HR, Finance and Campus Solutions.  Joe’s group is also responsible for the PeopleSoft Data Warehouse, Document Imaging using FileNet and Reporting tool Hyperion.  Joe’s previous experience includes UNIX Application development, System Administration of IBM MVS and Z/OS, UNIX, VMS, Windows NT/2000/2003, and TCP/IP networking.  Some of the applications he has implemented and supported for CSUF are the campus Touch Tone Registration System, the campus Kiosks, Titan Online Web Registration, Host Explorer, FileNET’s Report Manager System, Remote Printing Applications on the IBM Mainframe using LRS VPS, and TCP/IP related applications.

Sean Chang – CMS Programmer Analyst.  Sean is responsible for Application development (Finance), Administration of the Sun Data Warehouse Server, and Data Warehouse development. Sean has five years experience at CSUF working in the Business and Financial Affairs Division maintaining and supporting the campus cashiering system, CASHNet.  In addition, Sean developed many applications for the division including Employee Electronic Repayment, Document Managing Center Tracking system and Leave Accounting System as well as divisional reports using BrioQuery. Sean attended PeopleSoft training and participates in the support of CMS HR applications as a member of the VP, Admin and Finance technical team.

Gary Gardner – CMS Analyst/Programmer. Gary’s role is to prepare technical documentation and specifications and to design/develop data warehouse queries on the HR and Finance applications. He has 15 years of experience in budgeting at CSU Chico, including supervising systems training, security, and user help. Gary also served as Accounting Manager, Financial Manager, and Budget Officer at CSUF. At both universities, he was extensively involved in budget and financial systems, including design, implementation, management, and improvement of financial and position control systems.

Steve Giano - CMS Network Analyst.  Steve’s role on the CMS Technical Team is to support and implement applications related to document management and the effective use and repurposing of content and data.  Steve holds an MBA degree (CSUF ’01), an MCSE certificate, and more than a decade of professional experience in various technical roles around the microcomputer industry.  Steve has been instrumental in the deployment of several applications including: enterprise faxing via Fax Sr., document collaboration via SharePoint Portal Server, project management via Project Server 2003, online training via Macromedia Breeze Server, application documentation via RoboHelp, as well as document scanning and retrieval with FileNET’s Panagon Integrated Document Management suite of software. Moving forward, Steve will play an important role in the area of business intelligence specifically with the deployment of Hyperion’s Enterprise Performance Suite on our campus.  

Boonping Goh – CMS Programmer/Analyst. Boonping is currently working on the Peoplesoft Portal on the CMS Technical Team.  He has been with CSUF since 2002, previously working in the Internet Technologies department of IT.  His experience includes working on the CSUF Portal, Blackboard, NSO and other campus applications.

Steven Hensley  - CMS Programmer/Analyst for Peoplesoft HR.  Steven joined CSUF in 2006 after working for seven years at Cingular Wireless supporting PeopleSoft HR and Payroll.  He is currently working on the HR 8.9 upgrade and the rollout of the Labor Cost Distribution and Absence Management modules.

George McCalmon- CMS Security Coordinator. George specifically works with CMS Human Resources application.  He is in charge of ensuring that all users have the rights and permission needed to access PeopleSoft.  George has worked at CSUF since 2004,  previously working in the IT department as an Information Technology Consultant.

Mony Nhong - CMS Programmer Analyst.  Mony is responsible for Application Development, Data Warehouse development, Portal and Internet technologies. He has developed modules for the CMS Project including the SIS+ Interface and the CMS Single-Sign-On (SS) Interface with campus Portal.  Mony’s experience includes MS Windows Programming and MS SQL Server programming, and he is familiar with C/C++, C#, and Java programming.  As the designer of CSUF’s CWID application infrastructure, he continues to enhance and maintain the CWID applications.  Mony also worked on the design and development of CSUF’s SuperDirectory database and Campus Portal.

DivyaTej Raghu - CMS Technical Consultant. Divya is involved in analysis, design, development, and implementation of Custom PeopleSoft Applications, Electronic Content Management Applications using FileNet, Portal Integration and CMS Applications Integration. He has more than nine years of experience in various positions in software development life cycle for different types of businesses in the functional areas of Higher Education Systems, Banking, Manufacturing, Sales, Inventory and Management Systems.
