Dear Graduation Candidates,
On behalf of the faculty and staff of the College of the Arts, I want to congratulate you on this milestone event in your life. The College of the Arts has a long-standing tradition of excellence in the education of students who have chosen to dedicate their academic careers to pursuing the rigorous challenges of the visual and performing arts. We are justifiably proud of our graduates, and aware of their devotion to their work and the long hours they have spent in achieving their educational artistic goals.
It is with great pleasure that I extend to you an invitation to join us on Saturday, May 25, 2013, as the university will host its annual commencement exercises. We will begin our day of celebration with the all-university ceremony, featuring keynote speaker Marc Cherry, Screenwriter and Executive Producer and the official conferring of your degree from President GarcĂa. Following this, our College will hold its own ceremony where each graduate will be individually recognized. Please refer the commencement website for details and a map.
We look forward to joining your family and friends in celebrating your artistic and academic achievements. As you move forward from the university to pursue your life goals, remember that we are proud to have you as a member of the College of the Arts family at California State University, Fullerton. Our best wishes to you in the future and, once again, our congratulations on a job well done.
Sincerely,
Joseph Arnold
Dean
