Accomodations for Persons With Disabilities
Students Participating in Commencement
For students participating in Commencement and guests who require special accommodations for their disabilities, please complete the Request for Accommodation form. Advance notice is important to ensure accessibility so please complete and submit this request by Thursday, May 12, 2016. Access could include sign language interpreters, printed materials in accessible format, and other accommodations.
Persons with disabilities will be directed to the State College Parking Structure or Lot I if they have a DMV placard/DP plate. Limited shuttle service will be available throughout Commencement weekend.
See Parking and Permits for additional information.
Limited courtesy shuttle service will be available beginning at 7 a.m. Golf cart-style shuttles run along a designated route around the perimeter of campus with stops at tented shuttle stops along the way.
Because the number of shuttles are limited, we urge you to walk if you are able and reserve the shuttles for those who truly need it.
All Commencement venues are wheelchair accessible. Since there are significant distances between the venues, please bring a wheelchair if you have access to one. Ushers will be present at all commencement sites to assist in any way possible.
A limited number of manual wheelchairs will be available for loan, at no charge, around the campus.
