Titan Lifesavers
"Celebrating the gift of life and inspiring students, faculty and staff to donate blood and register as organ/tissue and bone marrow donors."
On any given day, more than 6,000 individuals are searching the national registry for a life-saving donor. These patients have leukemia, lymphoma and other life-threatening diseases that can be treated by a bone marrow or cord blood transplant. For many of these patients, a transplant may be the best and only hope for a cure. Only about 30% of these patients will find a match within their family leaving the remaining patients reliant entirely on donor registrants.
