Associated Students, CSUF, Inc. Elections


ASI Elections are held each semester for at least one of the two ASI Board of Directors positions for each academic college (Arts, Business & Economics, Communications, Education, Engineering & Computer Science, Health & Human Development, Humanities & Social Sciences, and Natural Sciences & Mathematics). At least eight positions are available each semester and their terms of office run over the following two semesters. In addition, each spring a President and Executive Vice-President is elected. The President and Executive Vice-President serve for one academic year commencing on July 1. Please note that information pertaining to ASI elections may change periodically. Contact the ASI Elections Commissioner, ASI Elections Advisor(s), or the ASI Executive Offices for the most current information.

Wednesday, February 29
FILING CLOSED
Petition of Candidacy, Certification of Academic Progress, and Authorization for Educational Record Disclosure Due by 5:00PM in TSU-207.
Tuesday, March 13
Candidates' Orientation Meeting
8:00AM in the TSU 201(Leg. Chambers). Attendance is mandatory. Campaigning officially begins after this meeting.
Wednesday, March 14
ELECTION DAY
8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Wednesday, April 4
ELECTION DAY
8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Results announced at 8 PM in TSU 201(Leg Chambers).
Thursday, April 5
Election Expense Report Due by 5:00PM in TSU-246
