Greek Programs

5 Star Program
The Chapter Pursuit of Excellence Program serves to assist the University Greek community in general and each chapter in particular in functioning at the most effective and efficient levels possible. The program also intends to help provide for the best possible experience for individual members.

Rho Lambda
Rho Lambda is a honorary organization for Panhellenic sorority members. It is an organization that accepts members based on academic performance, leadership, and community service. Each semester members of the Greek community apply to be initiated into Rho Lambda. The active members of Rho Lambda then select the new initiates from the applications they received. Rho Lambda is a nationally recognized Greek honorary organization.

Order of Omega
Order of Omega is a Greek honorary organization that believes in high scholarship, leadership skills, and community involvement. These attributes make an individual perfectly suited for initiation into Order of Omega. This honorary organization is a nationally recognized organization.

Gamma Sigma Alpha
The Beta Zeta chapter of Gamma Sigma Alpah at CSUF prides itself on high academic ideals. All initiates must have a 3.5 cumulative GPA in order to be eligible for the honorary. Gamma Sigma Alpha is a nationally recognized organization.

Greeks Advocating the Mature Management of Alcohol (GAMMA)
GAMMA is a national student organization with over 750 chapters on campuses across the United States. Through education and activities designed to increase awareness of substance abuse issues, GAMMA focuses on the development and promotion of positive lifestyles and healthy choices. GAMMA recognizes the extremely important peer relationship, which can be a strong support for responsible, health decision-making. GAMMA encourages informed, independent decision making with respect to state laws and campus policies, and advocates healthy lifestyles. The mission of GAMMA at CSUF is to promote safety, responsibility, and healthy choices.

Greek Week
This week of Greek unity donates proceeds to a designated charity each year.

Greek Week is one of CSUF’s largest student-run events! Members from each fraternity and sorority work together six days of fun and excitement. Events include attending Chalk Mural Day, Greek Olympic-style games, hands-on service and All Greek Award Ceremonies. The most exciting day of Greek Week is Lip Sync. This event is a spectacular show of talent combining acting, dancing, costuming and prop design to create a professional and entertaining production. Proceeds from the week are donated to Camp Titan, a summer camp for underprivileged youth. Last year, Greek Week donated over $17,000 for its designated charity.
