Informal Recruitment, each sorority and fraternity chapter recruits individually, takes place usually during the spring semester.
3.
If I go through Recruitment, do I have to join a fraternity/sorority?
You are not entitled to join if you go through Recruitment. Recruitment is a time when you can see what Greek life has to offer to you. It's a chance for you to meet some active members, and to get a self-experiencing introduction to what being part of fraternity or sorority life at CSUF.
4.

Why should I have any interest in joining a sorority or fraternity?
Part of being a student in college is meeting the expectations of the future. Part of being a student at CSUF is achieving the education and experience that will benefit you in the future. Part of being a Greek is enjoying your young life, and meeting people with similar interests and ideas to help you connect to your future. Greek Life makes those life-time connections through nationally and internationally recognized organizations.
