Below are the details for this event:

• The event is free of charge. Light refreshments will be provided.

• Students who participate will receive a sash signifying the Lesbian Gay Bisexual and their allies’ culture, a commemorative booklet containing short biographies of the graduate candidates and a participation certificate.

• Students are invited to submit biographical statements for the commemorative booklet.  Please review the LGBT Pride Invitation PacketLGBT Pride Invitation Packet for instructions and examples.  Biographical statements can be submitted when students RSVP for the event at this link:  TBD
  BIOGRAPHIES DEADLINE: Friday, April 22, 2011.

• Students, family, and friends can also purchase advertisements for the commemorative booklet.  Please review the LGBT Pride Invitation Packet for details including sizes and prices. 
  DEADLINE FOR ADS AND PAYMENT: Wednesday, April 20, 2011.

• Students should arrive at Pavilion A by 6:15pm to prepare for the processional.

• The ceremony will begin promptly at 7:00pm and conclude by 9:00pm.

• In keeping with the ceremonial nature of this event, academic regalia (cap and gown) is required for all graduates who participate.

• Faculty and staff are invited to attend.
