Multicultural Mentoring ProgramThe Multicultural Mentoring Program is an opportunity for first year and transfer students to be paired with a peer mentor and faculty or staff mentor. The program focuses on the academic, cultural, and social integration of students. Participants will build a network of knowledge and support on campus resources, cultural identity development, and community awareness. The program is coordinated by the Multicultural Leadership Center (MLC) with the support of the African American Resource Center (AARC), Chicano Resource Center, and the African American, Asian and Pacific Islander, and Chicano/Latino Faculty and Staff Associations. Mission Statement The Multicultural Mentoring Program is committed to providing support and guidance to first year and transfer students in their personal, social, and academic life, by building positive relationships that will foster future leaders at Cal State Fullerton and in their communities. Who can participate? Any Cal State Fullerton student, faculty, or staff member who is interested in mentorship and willing to learn about issues affecting the African American, Asian American, Pacific Islander, LGBT, or Chicano/Latino communities.
