As an honoree in this ceremony, you will receive a Kente sash, a gift, a commemorative booklet containing short biographies of the graduate candidates, and a participation certificate. In keeping with the ceremonial nature of this event, academic regalia is required for graduating students. We ask that the honorees arrive at the Health Center Building at 4:30 p.m. to prepare for the processional. In order to participate, please note the following single deadline of Thursday, April 13, 2006 :

You must return your biography to the African American Resource Center via e-mail phymes@fullerton.edu . Please click here for an example to write your biographical entry for the program.

Ads for the program may also be purchased for graduates. Please choose from samples and prices, and return your ad in the exact format you would like it to appear in the program (Ads must be “Picture Ready”) by April 13, 2006. Checks should be made payable to California State University, Fullerton with a memo “PASRC” and sent to Yen Ling Shek, Multicultural Leadership Center, TSU 235, PO Box 6830, Fullerton, CA 92834-9830.

A traditional graduate group picture in your regalia is also taken for the souvenir program booklet. The group picture will be taken in front of the Titan Shops, Thursday, April 13, 2006. Please arrive no later than 1:30 pm.
