Outstanding Senior Award Available from Cal State Fullerton

The CSUF African American Faculty and Staff Association will award a $500 scholarship to graduating seniors who have made a significant impact in campus and community involvement and show future leadership promise.  These awards will be presented at the 2006 Pan African Recognition Ceremony on Sunday, May 21, 2006.

 

Application Process:  Please submit an essay of 250 words or less that describes the impact you have made both on the CSUF campus and in your local community.  Discuss your leadership attributes and your future goals upon graduation.  Your essay should provide compelling evidence as to why you should be chosen as this year’s Outstanding Graduate.

 

The African American Faculty and Staff Association Scholarship Committee will read and select the Outstanding Recipient.  The award Recipient will read their essay and participate in the Pan African Recognition Ceremony on Sunday, May 21, 2006 from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm at the CSUF Engineering & Computer Science Lawn.

 

Deadline:  Please submit application, essay and two letters of recommendation by Monday, May 1, 2006 to Dr. Julie Stokes, AARC, H222B.
