RESPECT - Retreat for
Student Peace Education and Cultural Training
Funded by the University Mission and Goals Initiative, the MLC collaborates annually with the Office of International Education and Exchange to host this intercultural weekend retreat. RESPECT enhances students' global citizenship skills through interaction, dialogue, personal reflection, cross cultural communication building, awareness of social issues not only domestically but also internationally, and the promotion of change agent behaviors among participants. In addition, RESPECT intentionally serves as a venue for community building between international and U.S. Domestic students.
