2013 Orientation Programs
Congratulations and Welcome!

Congratulations on your admittance to California State University, Fullerton!  We know you have a wonderful experience ahead of you.  That said, we know the transition into college life can be both exciting and challenging.  From now on, make sure you pay special attention to the mail you receive from the university.  Set up a system to keep track of all the important information you collect.  In addition, make copies of all the documents you send to Cal State Fullerton.  Furthermore, pay particular attention to all deadlines in order to guarantee registration access, financial aid eligibility, etc.  Finally, by attending orientation, we can help you make the right choices as you begin your journey toward academic success!

Please visit www.fullerton.edu/orientation for more information and to sign up for all of our orientation programs.

FIRST-TIME FRESHMEN

New Student Orientation (NSO) is MANDATORY for all first-time freshmen.  All first-time freshmen admitted for fall 2013 must sign up and pay $85 for a New Student Orientation session no later than 5:00pm on Friday, May 17, 2013 in order to attend Cal State Fullerton.  Signing up for NSO finalizes your intent to attend CSUF.  If you do not sign up for a session date, you risk losing your admissions offer to the university.

Accepting your admission and paying the $250 enrollment deposit by May 1, 2013 is required before you can sign up for New Student Orientation.  Applicants admitted after April 15, 2013 have two weeks from the date of admission, printed on the admit letter, to accept their admission offer.

You may sign up for NSO beginning Thursday, February 21, 2013

TRANSFER STUDENTS

Transfer Orientation is MANDATORY for all newly admitted transfer students.  All newly admitted transfer students must either attend a Transfer Student Orientation (TSO) session or complete the online Transfer Overview before registering for their first semester courses

Accepting your admission and paying the $250 enrollment deposit by June 1, 2013 is required before you can sign up for Transfer Student Orientation or complete the Online Transfer Overview.  Applicants admitted after May 15, 2013 have two weeks from the date of admission, printed on the admit letter, to accept their admission offer.

You may sign up for TSO beginning Thursday, February 21, 2013

You may access the Online Transfer Overview beginning Monday, June 3, 2013

Again, orientation is a great opportunity for you to meet fellow new students and make valuable connections with current Cal State Fullerton students, faculty and staff.  New students who make these connections and create these friendships tend to be more successful in their transition to college.  In fact, students who attend orientation are more likely to stay in college, be satisfied with their college experience, achieve better grades and graduate!
