The Dean of Students Office
houses the Judicial Affairs Officer, the Dean of Students, and staff
support for the many programs and services described elsewhere. Staff
from the office partner with faculty to provide the Fullerton First
Year program, a unique learning community for the first time freshmen.
In addition, the office serves an advocacy function, helping students
to find their way through our complex university organization, problem-solving,
consultation and referral to other offices. Through student government
and Dean of Students support, student interested are represented on
university committees.

There are
23 Greek fraternities and sororities on CSUF's campus, with more than
800 members involved in a wide range of activities. These include Pan
Hellenic councils, Greek Week, the Greek Alumni Advisory Council and more.
You'll find fellowship, academic support, leadership training, participation
in campus activities, and service both on and off campus.

Judicial Affairs
helps prepare students for academic success by defining the standards
of behavior expected of CSUF students. Academic integrity and appropriate
behavior, both on and off campus, are applicable to how you live and function
in the community. This ensures that all members of the campus community
can thrive in an environment conducive to growth and learning. The staff
also responds to allegations that a student has violated university standards
and provides a fair and timely response to guarantee that due process
is afforded to all.

The Student
Leadership Institute is a student-run certificate program that offers
participants different plans, each with a series of one and two-hour workshops.
Learn leadership skills, peer education, diversity awareness and understanding
and much more. Students gain valuable information and training that helps
not only on campus but when they graduate. Each year, about 600 students
participate in this program.

Learn the
joys of developing projects and working with faculty members to see the
skills you've learned in the classroom put into action. Volunteering for
community and campus projects gives students the chance to contribute
to the community while developing their skills. Approximately 500 students
have contributed countless hours to working with children, the elderly
and other community members.
