| The Student Leadership Institute (SLI) provides leadership education and training to CSUF, Santa Ana College , and Santiago Canyon College students who choose to participate in the program as part of their co-curricular involvement. SLI is a noncredit certificate track program dedicated to helping students become prominent and well-prepared leaders in their communities. SLI complements students' educational experience by teaching the skills and knowledge necessary for effective leadership. Co-curricular activities like SLI provide a learning environment for students to socialize and network with peers. In addition, participation in SLI offers an excellent opportunity for students to meet and network with professors, administrators, and members of the community. Also, SLI participation, certificate tracks completed, and workshops attended can be listed on a resume. By participating in one of seven SLI certificate track programs students will:

The Spring workshop is now up - please click here for the schedule listed by date or by track. Our Spring orientation week is over, but you can continue to sign-up for SLI throughout the semester. We offer orientations Monday's at 3pm or Tuesday's at 8am every week in TSU 235, so please come in if you would still like to join. If you cannot make either of these times, please contact us to set up a one-on-one orientation at whatever time is convenient for you.
