What SLI Means to Me: SLI is an amazing program that helps
individuals understand the importance of being a leader. It also gives motivated
individuals an opportunity to connect and network with fellow leaders. The
workshops offer essential skills that improves one's leadership and communication
skills. I am glad to be a part of this great program and help my fellow titans be
the best they can be.
Hobbies/ Interests: Editing, Photography, Drawing, music,
meeting new people, and badminton.

What SLI Means to Me: SLI means to me that every student is
a leader!! By attending workshops we learn more about ourselves and are able
to enhance our skills. These skills will help us in the future when we begin
our career. Through SLI I have meet inspiring presentators and have gained
friendships. Overall, SLI has helped me feel part of CSUF.
Hobbies/Interests: My hobbies include eating, singing,
playing softball and volleyball; and watching MLB games.

What SLI Means to Me: SLI has helped me to become more involved
in school since the beginning of my freshman year. This program has taught me so
much on what it takes to become a great leader and all of the characteristics of
a true leader. SLI gives me a reason to come to school other than just attending
classes each day of the week.
Hobbies/Interests:Doing different forms of hot yoga, running,
going to the beach, going to concerts and festivals, discovering new music,
vintage shopping, trying new things in general.

What SLI Means to Me: SLI is a program where I can
improve and gain more leadership skills. I get the opportunity to
meet new people, network with other faculties and staff, and create
new friendships with other students. It is also where I am able to
show the leadership side of me to the world. SLI is a place where I
can show the inner side of myself and it is where I feel like I belong!
Hobbies/Interests: My hobbies are listening to music
because with music, I am able to relax from all the stress I have and
cumulative throughout the day. I like volunteering to give back to my
community and school through programs like SLI and the Accounting Society.
In the evening or when I have free time, I would play my violin even though
I am no longer part of an orchestra. I enjoy traveling to Sweden because
my mother’s side of the family resides there. On rainy and cold days, I
enjoy reading and watching movies whether Chinese, Korean, or American.

What SLI Means to Me: SLI is a wonderful program
that enables students to reach their full potential as leaders. Students
will have the amazing opportunity to learn the foundation of leadership
and apply those skills to everyday life. In addition to getting free
leadership training, SLI is a wonderful opportunity to create new
friendships and network with professionals. As the presentations coordinator,
I want to inspire others to gain the proper leadership training so that CSUF
students can grow as an individual and become a competent leader!
Hobbies/Interests: I enjoy hiking, running, cycling,
swimming, soccer and being outdoors.

What SLI Means to Me: I first enrolled in a track with the
Student Leadership Institute as a sophomore. I wanted to be more involved on
campus and network with professionals on campus. It didn't take long for me to
realize that, beyond meeting new people, I was also being given many
opportunities to develop many of the skills I hope to perfect as a future high
school English teacher, such as public speaking. SLI is a great program to build
your strengths and discover your potential.

What SLI Means to Me: SLI is a non discriminatory Institute. It provides
a series of workshops to all CSUF students and it also gives student chances to learn and
practice the leadership skills. I believe the experience I had from those workshop will help
me a lot in my career. Those programs are not only help you develop your career skill but
also make you involve on campus or in the community. Overall , SLI is manful for me and
explore my potential for leadership.
Hobbies/Interests: I like to read and talk to different type of person.
Especially I love to make new friends from different country. I enjoy traveling and learning

What SLI Means to Me:SLI is a way for me to learn more about myself,
my own leadership and communication styles as well as a way for me to meet individuals
who are interested similar things that I am. SLI offers a chance to really figure out
where your strengths and weaknesses are and gives you tools to improve on these
aspects.
Hobbies/Interests:I am the happiest when I am dancing! I try to dance
any opportunity that I can. I also enjoy reading books from classics to popular
literature. My favorite book is Beloved by Toni Morrison. I also enjoy watching movies
and TV. Some of my favority movies are Mulan, Lord of the Rings and Never Been Kissed.
The TV shows that I am into lately are Wilfred, Louis, Modern Family and the Colbert
Report. I also LOVE learning about different cultures. I am studying French at the
moment and dream of somday living in Paris!
