ORGANIZATIONAL LEADERSHIP

The Organizational Leadership Track developed out of conversations with more advanced student leaders and their advisors. The goal of this track is to provide students who already have substantial leadership experience, either on campus or in the community, with advanced skills for leading, motivating, and managing others. Students will also learn about their own leadership identity to reflect on how they have grown into their current positions or roles in order to better plan for their future goals.

Students completing the track will receive a certificate of completion and will be recognized at the SLI Annual Recognition Ceremony.

OBJECTIVES:

bullet To introduce students to specific leadership theories and philosophies.
bullet To help students think about how these theories and philosophies can be incorporated into their current leadership practices.
