Our campus leaders have a lot to say about their in and out classroom experience of their involvement.

“I feel prepared to enter the real-world because of the leadership opportunities at Cal State Fullerton. As SOAR-CICC chair for the past two years, I’ve learned how to become an effective leader and how to inspire other students to do the same. This experience has challenged me, but has been rewarding. Getting involved at CSUF gives you an edge over those who simply come to class and leave. Make time to join a club/organization or take a leadership position because I know it’s well worth it. That’s when you’re a true Titan!”

"My involvement here at Cal State Fullerton has changed my life. I feel that I have truly grown up here. My view on life and my goals for my life have changed. My experiences within ASI have helped me come to a true understanding of what a leader is, and the impact that just one person can make "

"Being a student leader at Cal State Fullerton has made me more confident. It has given me the talent to not only positively impact my community, but to also excel with my academics. My leadership role has allowed me to build relationships with the faculty/staff on campus. As a student leader you get what I consider the true college experience. "

"The skills that I learned through this position are a lot of organizational and communication skills and learning how to be a part of a team, not just with students but also with faculty and staff. That has been a really good experience and it opened other opportunities for me to get in involved in other ways. Other experiences I really value is just the way that I've been able to interact with the students and get to know different people through this organization Those relations are really important to me. Without being involved I wouldn't have been able to make those connections. I know that a lot of those I've met will continue to be friends even after this experience is over."

"Being involved with sports clubs and with the SC-ICC has been the highlight of my time at Cal State Fullerton. When I became involved in lacrosse, I met more people and made more friends in my first few months than I had in my entire previous two years at Fullerton. Most of the people I hang out with now, and several of my closest friends, I've met through lacrosse and the SC-ICC."

"Being involved on campus has helped me to build different aspects of my personal and professional development.  Working with peers and professionals on campus has been a fulfilling experience.   Through these experiences I have gained the confidence in myself and the skills that are necessary to communicate effectively with others which will benefit me when I graduate. "
