Tuffy's Basic Needs Services: Partnerships

Our work would not be possible without the support of our partners who help make basic needs services available:

Housing and Residential Engagement

Our partnership with Housing and Residential Engagement allows us to provide emergency temporary housing and food assistance to students in need.

Auxiliary Services Corporation

Through a partnership with Auxiliary Services Corporation (ASC), we are able to provide guest cards to students experiencing food insecurity. ASC has donated over 1,000 guest cards which can be redeemed at on campus dining locations.

Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County

Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County’s CalFresh Outreach Coordinator visits our campus once a week to help CSUF students enroll in CalFresh benefits. Thanks to their partnership, we are able to connect students who qualify with fresh foods and vegetables.

Aramark

Aramark generously donates meal swipes for CSUF students who are experiencing food insecurity. These meal swipes can be redeemed at the Gastronome.

Career Center

Prior to Career Fairs, Career Stylists from the Career Center help students select appropriate interview attire from Tuffy’s Career Closet.

President’s Office

The campus community came together to donate 40 boxes of full sized hygiene products during the 2018 Holiday Open house. The items are distributed at Tuffy’s Basic Needs Services Center to students who seek support.

 CSUF Athletics

CSUF Athletics generously donated funds which are used to provide students who experience an unforeseen crisis or catastrophic event with financial support.

ASI, Board of Directors

ASI Board or Directors generously donated funds which are used to provide students who experience an unforeseen crisis or catastrophic event with financial support.
