Hunger Coalition: Food & Hygiene Drive— Help local homeless individuals and families by donating canned and non-perishable food items and/or hygiene items such as soap, shampoo, razors and more. Drop off items Monday-Friday between 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Email us for the full list of needed items and any additional drop off locations. **Note: This drive does not take volunteer sign-ups; please just drop-off items you want to donate during our regular hours.

Description

Project Read

Volunteers work with children at a transitional shelter for families to help promote literacy and educational achievement. Volunteers for this project must commit for the entire semester to either Monday or Tuesday nights!

Project Read Anaheim— Every Monday, 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. beginning with Orientation on Monday, February 13th at 5:30pm

Project Read Fullerton— Every Tuesday, 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. beginning with Orientation on Tuesday, February 14th at 5:30pm (orientation will end early due to Valentine’s Day!)

Students ACT – Social Justice Summit

Learn about issues of inequality, oppression, environmental concern, and more through Students ACT.

Join the Student Planning Committee on Fridays at 12:00 and help coordinate the annual Social Justice Summit.

We also invite you to join one of our 3 Teams to help with different aspects of coordinating the Social Justice Summit:

1) Workshop Presenters and Resource Fair Team: Mondays from 2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

2) Coordinating and Fundraising:
Tuesdays from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

3) Marketing and Volunteers:
Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

* Exception: Blood Drive and Summit volunteers are not required to stay throughout the entire event.  These volunteers will choose specific time slots to volunteer during the event time period.

Email us at volunteer@fullerton.edu, call (657) 278-7623 or come to Titan Student Union Room 2 and provide the following information:

Space is limited for the majority of events, so early sign-ups are recommended.  After you sign up, you will receive emails asking you to confirm your attendance.  Finally, upon your confirmation, you will receive all the details needed to participate.
