Volunteers work with children at a transitional shelter for families to help promote literacy and educational achievement. Volunteers for this project must commit for the entire semester to either Monday or Tuesday nights! Project Read Anaheim — Every Monday, 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. beginning with Orientation on Monday, February 13th at 5:30pm Project Read Fullerton — Every Tuesday, 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. beginning with Orientation on Tuesday, February 14th at 5:30pm (orientation will end early due to Valentine’s Day!) Students ACT – Social Justice Summit |
Learn about issues of inequality, oppression, environmental concern, and more through Students ACT. Join the Student Planning Committee on Fridays at 12:00 and help coordinate the annual Social Justice Summit. We also invite you to join one of our 3 Teams to help with different aspects of coordinating the Social Justice Summit: 1) Workshop Presenters and Resource Fair Team: Mondays from 2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Students ACT – Social Justice Summit |
Learn about social issues such as inequality, oppression, human rights, the environment, and more. Find out how you can make a change now! Join the Student Planning Committee and help coordinate the annual Social Justice Summit. Call now to sign up and decide what topics, speakers, and special activities will be featured! Meetings are once a week on Fridays from 12-1 for the fall semester starting in mid-September. Call for details regarding when these begin. If you cannot make these meetings, there are many other ways to get involved so give us a call!

Space is limited for the majority of events, so early sign-ups are recommended. After you sign up, you will receive emails asking you to confirm your attendance. Finally, upon your confirmation, you will receive all the details needed to participate.
Please note, priority is given to CSUF students at Volunteer & Service Center events. Non-CSUF students will be placed on the wait list and must be over 18 years of age.
