Description

Project Read

Volunteers work with children at a transitional shelter for families to help promote literacy and educational achievement. Volunteers for this project must commit for the entire semester to either Monday or Tuesday nights!

Project Read is currently full for Fall 2009 semester.  Check back in Spring 2010 for any openings! It fills quickly!!

Hunger and Homelessness
Awareness Week

Get Involved with Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week!
November 16th-20th

Join the Student Committee NOW to help plan this week of events designed to educate the campus about these important issues.  Call or email to sign up.
Volunteer at our Events Nov. 16-20 .  Sign up for the interest list and we’ll send you details once the schedule is set.   

Students ACT

Learn about social issues such as inequality, oppression, human rights, the environment, and more.  Find out how you can make change now! 
Join the Student Planning Committee and help coordinate the annual Social Justice Summit. Call now to sign up and decide what topics, speakers and special activities will be featured!  Meetings Wednesdays 12:00-1:00 p.m.  If you cannot make these meetings, there are many other ways to get involved so give us a call.

* Exception: Blood Drive and Summit volunteers are not required to stay throughout the entire event.  These volunteers will choose specific time slots to volunteer during the event time period.

Space is limited for the majority of events, so early sign-ups are recommended.  After you sign up, you will receive emails asking you to confirm your attendance.  Finally, upon your confirmation, you will receive all the details needed to participate.
