Feb. 1	Blood Drive Recruitment: Recruit Blood Donors - Conduct outreach on Titan Walk to recruit and sign up donors for the blood drive, CSUF: Sign up for a shift of any length between 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. You can also donate blood this day at the Bloodmobile located between the Student Recreation Center and Titan Gymnasium.
Thurs. Feb. 9	Community Connection: Orangewood Children’s Home — Serve as mentors for children residing at this transitional home, Orange: 5:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Sat. Feb.11	Hunger Coalition: St. Angela’s Soup Kitchen — Help with food preparation and service for the hungry in this local community, Brea: 6:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Sat. Feb. 18	Project Earth: Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary — Join us as we restore the natural habitat at this beautiful sanctuary, Modjeska Canyon: 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Project Buddies: Bowling & Games - Volunteers build friendships with special needs students ages 18-22, CSUF: 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Thurs. Feb. 23	Community Connection: Orangewood Children’s Home — Serve as mentors for children residing at this transitional home, Orange: 5:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Feb. 27 - April. 13	Hunger Coalition: Food & Hygiene Drive— Help local homeless individuals and families by donating canned and non-perishable food items and/or hygiene items such as soap, shampoo, razors and more. Drop off items Monday-Friday between 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Email us for the full list of needed items and any additional drop off locations. **Note: This drive does not take volunteer sign-ups; please just drop-off items you want to donate during our regular hours.

April 18	Titan Lifesaver Event & Blood Drive:Conduct outreach on Titan Walk to recruit and sign up donors for the blood drive and help with all aspects of the special event to promote all the ways a person can save a life, CSUF: Sign up for a shift of any length between 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
April 19	Blood Drive Recruitment: Recruit Blood Donors –Conduct outreach on Titan Walk to recruit and sign up donors for the upcoming blood drive, CSUF: Sign up for a shift of any length between 9:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Sat. April 21	Hunger Coalition Mary’s Soup Kitchen – Help distribute clothing and perform other special tasks to support the homeless at the soup kitchen, Orange: 8:30am - 3:00pm

Ongoing Projects

Project Read	Volunteers work with children at a transitional shelter for families to help promote literacy and educational achievement. Volunteers for this project must commit for the entire semester to either Monday or Tuesday nights! Project Read Anaheim— Every Monday, 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. beginning with Orientation on Monday, February 13th at 5:30pm Project Read Fullerton— Every Tuesday, 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. beginning with Orientation on Tuesday, February 14th at 5:30pm (orientation will end early due to Valentine’s Day!) SPACE EXTREMELY LIMITED SO SIGN UP NOW!
Students ACT – Social Justice Summit	Learn about issues of inequality, oppression, environmental concern, and more through Students ACT. Join the Student Planning Committee on Fridays at 12:00 and help coordinate the annual Social Justice Summit. We also invite you to join one of our 3 Teams to help with different aspects of coordinating the Social Justice Summit: 1) Workshop Presenters and Resource Fair Team: Mondays from 2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. 2) Coordinating and Fundraising: Tuesdays from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. 3) Marketing and Volunteers: Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Call or Email for more descriptions of these teams, to sign-up, or if you cannot make any of these meetings, find out other ways to get involved. Space is limited for the majority of events, so early sign-ups are recommended. After you sign up, you will receive emails asking you to confirm your attendance. Finally, upon your confirmation, you will receive all the details needed to participate.

Please note, priority is given to CSUF students at Volunteer & Service Center events. Non-CSUF students will be placed on the wait list and must be over 18 years of age.
