Welcome to the Volunteer & Service Center at Cal State Fullerton !   We were originally established in 1995 as the Community Service Action Team and shortely thereafter became CLASC (Community-based Learning and Service Center).  Now known as the Volunteer & Service Center, o ur goal is to provide outstanding service to the community by coordinating a variety of service and social action projects. Moreover, the Volunteer & Service Center provides educational programming designed to raise awareness regarding the many pressing social issues affecting our local, national and global communities and ways anyone can get involved in making positive change.  At the Volunteer & Service Center, our motto says it all: “Hey!  It’s Your World . . . Change It!”   Our excellent programming and services together with your time and talents make this change possible.

If you are looking for ways to serve your community and make an impact on the lives of those in need, the Volunteer & Service Center can help you find the right program.  Cal State Fullerton students, faculty and staff volunteer thousands of hours of their time each year to help the community through our various programs which focus on hunger & homelessness, the environment, supporting and mentoring children, saving lives through blood drives, and other special one-time community service projects. The Volunteer & Service Center also serves as a valuable R esource Center working to connect individuals and groups with the broad range of organizations needing volunteers. No matter your interests, major, experience-level, or time constraints, there is something for you!  Gain valuable experience that will enhance your education and become an aware and socially responsible individual through service and social action.
