Message from the Chair

Dear Student:

On behalf of the Civil & Environmental Engineering Department, at California State University, Fullerton, I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you into our program. Our program provides students with a curriculum that is an excellent blend of theory and practice. Our program is accredited by the Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET).

The faculty members of the Civil & Environmental Engineering Department have very strong academic credentials. All of the full-time faculty in the department have doctorates from outstanding institutions and many of them have an extensive industrial background. The faculty members are very active in research and work in close collaboration with the students. Our department keeps close contact with the industry. We strongly believe in the Mission and Goals of our University where learning is preeminent. We are committed to providing you with all the necessary support and encouragement to help you achieve your professional goals.
