Concert Under the Stars

On Friday, September 10, Cal State Fullerton hosted its 21st annual "Concert Under the Stars." About 3,500 were expected to attend the event, which took place on the athletics fields north of Titan Gym. The university's award-winning musical theatre students, alumni and guest artists performed a revue of hits from 100 years of Broadway musicals. Before the concert began, the university's Volunteers of the Year were honored, and the city of Fullerton's centennial was recognized by CSUF President Milton A. Gordon, who is beginning his 15th year as leader of the 31,000-student university. The evening ended with a fireworks finale.
