Co-sponsored by the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, a two-hour luncheon was be held for current students and alumni. Students and alumni were seated by major with a faculty member. We had separate tables for Civil and Environmental Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Computer Engineering students were seated with alumni working in their field of interest. Students had the opportunity for networking and obtaining advice about their majors and careers. Alumni had the opportunity to mentor students and build their connections to the university. About 75 people attended the event. Please see below for the names, majors, current titles/employers, and words of advice from the alumni who attended.
