Engineering and Computer Science Week is an annual celebration for ECS
majors.
Pre Career Fair Workshop
Tuesday, February 12
Engineering Room 202 12:00 p.m. - 1:15 p.m.
The Technical Career Fair Preparation Event is hosted by the instructor, Dr. Jese Kreiner and students in Mechanical Engineering 490. The workshop presenter is Ms. Liz Miles, College Relations Representative at Perot Systems Corporation. Student participants can expect to gain first hand information about how to attend a career/job fair event with confidence, learn networking skills as well as information about what recruiters look for when reviewing resumes.
ECS 50th Anniversary Alumni Mentor Luncheon
Monday, February 25
Titan Student Union, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
A two-hour luncheon was held for current students and alumni. Students and alumni were seated together at separate tables for each major. This luncheon gave students the opportunity for networking, obtaining advice about their majors and direction in their careers. Alumni will have the opportunity to mentor students and build their connections to the university.
Career Fair
Tuesday, February 26
ECS Quad, 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
The College of Engineering and Computer Science hosted 45 employers who were seeking full-time, intern, and summer employment candidates in engineering and computer science, finance, physics, geology and other majors. Studentshad an opportunity to meet employers, submit their resumes, and learn more about the companies who attend.

.MESA Day
Wednesday, February 27
ECS Quad, Lawn and Classrooms, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
Approximately 250 students from 7 area high schools were on campus for engineering, science, math and computer competitions in conjunction with the MESA (Mathematics, Engineering, Science Achievement) Program's annual Engineering and Computer Science Day. The CSU Fullerton MESA Program over 1,100 Orange County students in grades 6 - 12.
Engineering and Computer Science Student Leadership Day
Thursday, February 28
ECS Quad, 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
Free food, tables for each of our student chapters, prize drawings and other activities are all part of the fun! Come eat lunch with students, faculty, and staff, and learn about student organizations related to your major.
ECS Retention Office Open House
Thursday, February 28
CS 109A, 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.
Come learn about the College of Engineering & Computer Science's Retention Office! Through the support of a federal grant, the Retention Office coordinates advising, tutoring, and mentoring programs to serve all first-year students in the College. Drop in and meet the office staff, learn about our programs, get information about scholarships, student involvement opportunities, campus resources and enter to win one of several prizes!
