SAT/ACT Scores: Submit official SATor ACT scores to CSUF, to be received no later than January 23, 2012
CSU Eligibility: Your eligibility index is calculated by multiplying your grade point average by 800 and adding your total score on the SAT I. Or, if you took the ACT, multiply your grade point average by 200 and add ten times the ACT composite score. Only grades earned in A-G subjects in the 10th, 11th and 12th grades are used to calculate GPA.

If you apply for admission before you graduate from high school, you should compute your GPA using grades earned in A-G courses completed after the 9th grade. Do not include grades you expect to earn in courses during the remainder of 12th grade.

If you are a California high school graduate from our local area, you need a minimum eligibility index of 2900 using the SAT I (or 694 using the ACT).

Non-California resident students are required to have a minimum eligibility index of 3502 (SAT I) or 842 (ACT).

Due to impaction, freshmen admissions for students outside the local area is more competitive (an eligibility index higher than 2900 will be required for freshman admission to Cal State Fullerton).

Required Tests: Take all required placement tests (ELMand EPT) no later than May 5, 2012.
New Student Orientation: Mandatory for all incoming freshman. Sign up to attend by Thursday, May 17, 2012 at 5 p.m.
