What do I need to know about New Student Orientation?
New Student Orientation is mandatory for all first-time freshmen. If you plan to attend Cal State Fullerton in the fall, you MUST register for an orientation program no later than May 12th. Doing so will confirm your intent to attend Cal State Fullerton. If you do not register for orientation, you risk losing your admissions offer.

Orientation is also a great opportunity for you to meet other incoming students and make valuable connections with current students, faculty and staff here at Cal State Fullerton. Most importantly you’ll receive academic advisement (counseling regarding your general education requirements and classes needed for your major) and you’ll be able to register for your classes with priority registration.

For Transfer students, New Student Orientation offers an “insider's” introduction to your new university community. You'll meet fellow transfer students and make valuable connections with current students, faculty and staff here at Cal State Fullerton. We've learned that when new students make these early connections, they are more likely to achieve a successful transition to college and stay in college. They're also more likely to be satisfied with their experience, achieve better grades, and graduate!

If you have questions about New Student Orientation, call (714) 278-2501.
