During the time that Salvador was a student at Fullerton College some of the departments that helped him navigate through the system and transfer were the Extended Opportunity Program and Services at Fullerton College and the transfer services provided by Cal State Fullerton’s University Outreach.

Salvador chose Cal State Fullerton because of its location, and he found the transition to be an easy one because of all of the available resources. He advises potential students to, “Ask as many questions as possible, find specific people to talk to at each department and deal with them on a personal basis.” He also says to any potential re-entry student, “If you’re considering going back to school, just do it. Don’t think about it so much, it’s definitely worth it.”

Salvador completed his bachelor’s degree in the Fall 2005 semester. He is planning to pursue his Master’s degree in the near future.
