What is an H1B?

The H-1B is a nonimmigrant classification used by most foreign nonimmigrant Tenure Track Faculty when seeking eligibility to work in the United States.

Who can I contact to begin the Permanent Residency Process?

You should contact the Faculty Affairs and Records office to make sure that we are aware of your current status or if you need to apply for an H1B. You may also wish to speak with an attorney for assistance with your Permanent Residency Application. The following attorneys are known to practice immigration law:
