Stafford Pre-Loan Counseling
First time Stafford loan borrowers are required to complete an entrance counseling session prior to your loan request being transmitted to the lender. Students have two options for completing this requirement, electronically through Edfund's website or by viewing the video presentation in our office. If you previously borrowed a Stafford loan from another educational institution, this requirement will be waived once we obtain confirmation of loan history through the National Direct Student Loan System (NSLDS).
Online counseling is offered through Edfund. Edfund will send an electronic confirmation to our office for those students who successfully complete the online session with a perfect score.
Video counseling is available in our office until 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
