Managing money for students is essentially the same as for anyone else, except that they are particularly vulnerable to the misconception that it's okay to spend money that they don't have right now because they'll be able to pay for it later once they land that high-paying job. This type of thinking is risky and many recent graduates find themselves deep in debt. You can avoid this by developing a spending plan early and sticking to it. Once you have established a budget, do not be tempted to fall into the credit trap. Sure that concert may have seemed like a good idea at the time, but do you really want to be paying for it long after you've graduated? Live within your means to ensure that you are not burdened with debt once you graduate.
