Katherine Allred

Katherine AllredKathy is a retired real estate broker and an avid volunteer. Kathy was born in San Antonio and has been an Orange County resident since 1979. She had the unique experience of living aboard for eight years in Iceland, England and Spain.

A graduate of Cal State Fullerton, Kathy is a very active Titan and unselfishly shares her leadership with her alma mater. In addition to being a member of the Philanthropic Foundation Board of Governors, she also sits on both the Women’s Center and the MAMM Alliance Boards at Cal State Fullerton. Kathy is a munificent philanthropist, and her support has greatly impacted both the College of the Arts and the Women’s Center at Cal State Fullerton. In celebration of her generosity, Kathy was named one of Cal State Fullerton’s 50 Women of Distinction.

Kathy has worn many hats as a volunteer. She is a longtime Rotary member, currently in the Fullerton Rotary. She has chaired a variety of committees and led several initiatives in the Rotary, and even founded a high school level Rotary Club at Troy High School. For her years of service, Kathy was honored as the Rotarian of the Year. She was also a founding member of the Job Development Counsel; a member of the Orange County Office of Protocol Board; the Orange County Red Cross Director; Chairman of the Board for the Fullerton Chamber of Commerce; and Finance Chair for the Boy Scouts of America—just to name a few of her volunteer activities.

Kathy currently lives in Fullerton and enjoys both domestic and international travel and attending sporting events.
