I didn’t realize how much we scholars do together. I love it. It’s given me a great outlet to make friends, do community service, and I was not expecting that at all. It was a nice surprise.
I am very self-motivated person. I attended a very competitive high school (I was 13th in my class with a 4.54 grade point average). I always wanted to be one of the best; it’s just part of my nature. Academically, the program has given me a chance to expand my endeavors because I was able to finish my math major in two and a half years. So, I will have a double major in math and communications with an emphasis in entertainment studies. That would not have been possible if I had gone elsewhere and was paying $20,000 a year in tuition.
I have done so many things during my time here. The Scholars organize service activities almost monthly, and it is fun to do it with friends. I have gotten so much out of this program, and I can’t be anymore grateful than I am now.
