Woodward History Department Faculty Achievement Award

At the time the acct/award reaches $1000, a panel of at least three tenured or tenure-track faculty members will be elected by the dept. The dept. panel will award $1000 to a tenured history faculty member for scholarly publication in a peer reviewed journal (or chapter in a scholarly book) during the previous two years. Awards shall only be given once for any particular piece of published scholarship. The awards will only be dispersed once a year when funding is available. Mr. Woodward does not want his name attached to the award.
