College of the Arts

What makes the College of the Arts unique?

Cal State Fullerton’s College of the Arts has a stellar reputation in its three primary disciplines: visual arts, music, and theatre and dance. The department’s animation major is one of only 18 programs worldwide that has been designated a Disney partner; the program also enjoys unique partnerships with Warner Brothers Animation, Steven Spielberg’s DreamWorks studio and others.

The Music Department points with pride to vocal students who are consistently among the semifinalists and finalists in the Metropolitan Opera’s regional auditions. And, according to the Performing Arts Majors’ College Guide, the Theatre and Dance department is rated among the top 16 most highly recommended undergraduate programs in the nation.

Why should I give?

Supporting the arts at Cal State Fullerton helps fulfill the dreams of talented students and contributes to the larger culture in Orange County. Your contributions benefit students through scholarships and other priorities.

Who benefits from my gift?

The reach of the performing arts is far beyond the borders of the university. Students benefit from the exceptional faculty and world-class Joseph A. W. Clayes III Performing Arts Center, and the community is enriched by the outstanding performances of the actors and musicians.

"I love Cal State Fullerton and their Performing Arts because I get to see a lot of the performances and sit in box seats, which is very nice."
