ACADEMIC AFFAIRS
Named Honors College Endowment
$1,000,000
Gifts will provide funding to expand the existing Honors program into an independent academic unit of the university. Ensures that outstanding undergraduate students receive appropriate academic and administrative attention and that the standards for honors course work and graduating with honors remain consistent throughout the university, regardless of major.
For more information, please contact Pamela Hillman, Vice President, University Advancement, at 657-278-5287 or phillman@fullerton.edu .
FULLERTON ARBORETUM
Capital Project: Biological Research Facility
$2,000,000
Biological research facility that contains 4 greenhouses, indoor research workspace, offices and outdoor production facilities. The Fullerton Arboretum would be supporting research of approximately a dozen professors and graduate students and up to 24 Biology classes could potentially benefit from this facility.
Visitor Center Entrance
$200,000
The Arboretum entrance was to be renovated when the museum was built. Due to the escalating cost of construction the renovation never occurred. The renovation will include a new gate, signage, fences and plants. The entrance will be moved from its current location to better facilitate our visitors – especially the school children who arrive by bus, as well as special needs vans. The new entrance will also be opened up to enhance the accessibility of the Arboretum to the street making us more visible to the public.
Orange County Agricultural & Nikkei Heritage Museum
$1,000,000 endowment
The Orange County Agricultural & Nikkei Heritage Museum is now complete and needs a permanent and steady source of funds to operate OCANHM and to build future exhibits. Doing so will attract more people to CSUF and the arboretum and give our students from within many CSUF academic departments greater opportunities to participate in all aspects of museum operations. These funds would be used to research, build and display exhibits in the Orange County Agricultural and Nikkei Heritage Museum.

ATHLETICS
Gymnasium Lobby Renovation/Hall of Fame: $2,000,000
Track and Field Renovations: $200,000
Baseball Locker Room Expansion: $250,000
Scholarships: $500,000 annual
The Titan Athletics Fund (unrestricted) and Sport Specific Funds (restricted) provides current use money necessary for Cal State Fullerton to participate competitively at the Division I level. The University’s intercollegiate teams depend on annual support to meet ongoing needs for student-athletes. Annual gifts help support scholarship initiatives, maintain outstanding athletic programming and improve the educational environment for all Fullerton students.
Program and Scholarship Endowment
$1,000,000
Fully funding all our athletic programs with the NCAA allotment of scholarships will make Cal State Fullerton more competitive with other institutions. Specifically, it will help us attract the best and brightest student athletes to represent Cal State Fullerton on a national level. Athletic merit scholarships will help Cal State Fullerton compete for outstanding athletic and academic achievers, who raise the standards for the entire campus.

POLLAK LIBRARY
Library Materials Endowment
5 at $100,000
Interest from such endowments would be expended on books, journals, electronic resources, and audio-visual materials that support the curricular and research needs of the University. Fund use could be specified as long as such fit with the collection development policies/procedures of the Library. Appropriate recognition would be placed in or otherwise associated with items purchased using endowment interest. Inflation continues to erode purchasing power for library instructional and research materials. Endowments generating between $3-5,000/year would help address this situation.
Learning Commons
$1,250,000
Provides funding to renovate the first floor of the south wing and the atrium of the Pollak Library. $100,000 for conversion of the first-floor of Library-North to a more integrated and student-friendly service environment that can be summarized as "one-stop shopping." Costs include wiring/data adjustments to support an additional 70 workstations in the area, new furniture for workstations that invite and facilitate more student interaction, upgraded technology in small group study rooms, and soft seating that provides an alternative learning environment.

STUDENT AFFAIRS
ASI Children's Center Building Campaign
$2,000,000
Since 1971, the Children’s Center at Cal State Fullerton has provided child care for over 6,000 young children of university students. By providing a high-quality child development program with flexible scheduling, the Center serves a critical role in enabling students with children to attend the university.
The Children's Center project will build a new, state-of-the-art child development center with courtyard, playground, furniture, fixtures, and equipment. The new complex will include three buildings and will be licensed for 122 children (capacity) and be able to accommodate up to 225 children per week. This would be a 33% increase in capacity and 36% increase in the number of children served, respectively.
Student Leadership Programs
$500,000
Funding will be used to expand the student leadership programs offered on campus including the Student Leadership Institute, the University Leadership Conference, the Multicultural Leadership Center, Greek Life Leadership Academy, the RESPECT Multicultural Leadership Retreat, EMBRACE Cross Cultural Communication Seminars, the Volunteer and Service Center, and to fund a new program, the Center for Ethical Leadership. These programs provide excellent training and development for Cal State Fullerton students in leadership, management and cross cultural skills.
Annual Support of University-wide Scholarship
$800,000
Funding will be used to support the Guardian Scholars, honors and general scholarships.
Study Abroad Scholarships
$250,000
Provides funding to offer scholarships to increase the number of students who are able to take advantage of the study abroad opportunities available through Cal State Fullerton. Studying abroad enriches students’ university education by providing them with an international perspective and enhancing their ability to function more effectively in a multicultural work force. Scholarships would provide the opportunity for students who would otherwise not be able to participate.
University Learning Center
$500,000
Provides funding to enhance the capacity of the University Learning Center (ULC) to achieve its mission of offering academic support in an inviting and contemporary environment to all students at Cal State Fullerton. Funding will be used to expand overall student services and to update technology, including workstations, hardware and software. With these improvements, the ULC will be better equipped to meet the increased demand for tutorial services, resulting in increased retention and graduation rates.
For more information, please contact Pamela Jones-Tintle, Senior Director of Development, Student Affairs and Intercollegiate Athletics, at 657-278-4407 or pjones@fullerton.edu .
University Extended Education
UEE Scholarship Endowment
$400,000
Endowment to support annual scholarships at $20,000 per year that would include ALP, University Semester Abroad and Extension Programs. Provides funding to offer scholarships to increase the number of students who are able to take advantage of ALP, Extension Programs and the Study Abroad opportunities available through UEE. Scholarships would provide the opportunity for students who would otherwise not be able to participate.
This supports UEE's strategic plan by providing greater opportunities to individuals wanting to expand their knowledge and further their education but who cannot afford to do so.
