Naming Opportunities

If you want to honor a loved one, or you want to have your name immortalized, Cal State Fullerton has several naming opportunities.

Endowed Scholarships and Funds

A Named Endowed Fund is an endowed unrestricted gift to the university for purposes other than scholarships. The minimum gift is $25,000.

An Endowed Undergraduate Student Fellowship covers partial or full educational expenses. The minimum for a named annual undergraduate scholarship is 50% of tuition expenses. Gifts range from $25,000 to $100,000.

An Endowed Graduate Student Fellowship covers partial or full educational expenses. The minimum for a named annual graduate fellowship is 50% of tuition expenses. Gifts range from $50,000 to $200,000.

College of the Arts

Name the College of the Arts. Use of funds to be negotiated: $20,000,000

Name Departments – Music, Theatre & Dance, Visual Arts. Use of funds to be negotiated: $5,000,000

Name the Little Theatre in the Joseph A.W. Clayes III Performing Arts Center: $2,000,000

Name New Art Gallery. Funds to be used for the design and construction of a new 3,600 square foot art gallery facing Arts Drive and the Clayes Center: $ 2,000,000

Named Department Chair Endowment – Music, Theatre & Dance, Visual Arts. Allows for annual line item to be added to Chair’s University budget to help advance special initiatives for the Department as determined by the Chair: $1,500,000

Named Distinguished Professor Endowments – to attract and retain high profile artists-educators to the faculty. Allows for annual line item to be added to Department budget to help advance special initiatives for the faculty member’s program area: $1,000,000

Create your named Scholarship Endowment to attract and retain the most talented undergraduate and graduate students in each Department;
Create your named endowment to support a specific program and project;
Or contributions to the existing Marcy Arroues Mulville Memorial Foundation Endowment to bring world renown professional artists to the College of the Arts to perform and present master classes for students: $ 499,000 - $25,000

Name the Recital Hall in the Joseph A.W. Clayes III Performing Arts Center: $500,000

Seat Plates in the Meng Concert Hall or Young Theatre: $1,000
