Giles T. Brown

Professor Emeritus Dr. Giles T. Brown has without a doubt left behind a long legacy of service at Cal State Fullerton. And now he's leaving behind yet another legacy—more than $1 million in gifts and pledges to the university where he spent 23 years working as an educator.

Giles has allocated his generous gift to CSUF to benefit a variety of programs including the annual fund, the Fullerton Arboretum, the Pollak Library, the History Department, and an Outstanding Master's Degree Thesis Award. Most notably, he has established four gift annuities to fund the Giles T. Borwn Endowment for Graduate Studies, which supports graduate study grants, visiting scholars, and more. In recognition of his contributions, the university has named the conference room in the Academic Affairs office the Beth and Giles T. Brown Conference Room, creating a legacy worthy of an exceptional educator and individual.
