What is the Freshman Future Teachers Learning Community?
Freshman Future Teachers is a learning community designed for those students planning to be K-12th grade teachers. This one academic year-long community is designed to help prospective K-12th grade teachers develop a solid network on- and off- campus while earning their degree and teaching credential.

Service learning in local schools to provide exploratory field experiences essential to prospective teachers. |
Introduction to the Subject Matter Standards for multiple and single subject teachers and the California Standards for Teaching Professionals (CSTP). |

Be admitted to CSUF as a freshman (college transfer students are not eligible). Contact the Evaluations Unit of the Office of Admission and Records with admissions questions, 714.278.2396. |

Freshman Programs strongly encourages students to take the Entry-Level Mathematics exam (ELM) and English Placement Test (EPT) on December 1, 2007, February 2, 2008, March 15, 2008, or April 5, 2008. Please visit the Testing Services website to register for the exams. Completion of the ELM and EPT exams are required for all incoming CSUF freshman students and for acceptance to Freshman Programs. |

Applications will be accepted until all spaces in the program are filled. All incoming freshman students must attend New Student Orientation (NSO). To join Freshman Programs, students are required to attend NSO on June 17, 2008. Please visit www.fullerton.edu/orientation for NSO registration information. |
