| What is the Live ‘N’ Learn Learning Community?
This unique learning community has been designed to help you make the most of your first year in college, both academically and socially. The year long program is intended to help you develop a strong holistic connection with the campus environment. We focus on building a sense of community to help you transition into independent living on campus. We will help you find valuable academic resources, show you places to have fun and relax, and provide you with exposure to student clubs, recreation programs and athletic events. All to help you become part of the campus community.
Freshman Programs helped me transition as smoothly as possible in every way. I had phone numbers to important facilities on the campus, I had help with writing research papers, I became more comfortable interacting with other college students and expressing my ideas.
-Vyvy Dao, 2005 Freshman Programs Student |
