Why I love CSUF? I love that our campus holds much diversity and provides support for all students.  Also, that there are so many clubs, organizations and events to get involved with, which opens the opportunity to meet people and develop friendships.

Why is Freshman Programs important to you?
The people involved in Freshman Programs demonstrated sincere care towards me.  They were always concerned about my progress and directed me to resources that improved my academics and social life.  I love how Freshman Programs made it a priority to ensure I was successful.  They greatly impacted my first year and I think it is important to continue to support them in order to help future freshmen students.

Fun/Interesting Fact:
When I was 5 years old, I used to imitate the Latin singer of Tejano music, Selena Quintanilla, in various contests.

Advice you would like to give to freshmen:
Don’t be afraid to fail.  Simply give it your all when going on new adventures and be yourself!
