WALTER CRONKITE

The beloved Walter Cronkite participated in a conversation with Al Franken (a late replacement for the ailing Carl Reiner) before a sold-out crowd.

Dr. Laura Schlessinger was the Master of Ceremonies.

Cronkite concluded the event by asking to return. (He will be back on the Front & Center stage on February 3, 2001 with Whoopi Goldberg.)

Michael Maguire returned and was joined by fellow Les Miserables star (and Cal State Fullerton graduate) Dana Meller in performing the personalized introductions.
