PREPARING FOR AN EMERGENCY

California State University, Fullerton’s Emergency Operations Plan, as developed by the emergency response team, addresses the challenges and responsibilities of emergency preparedness on campus. The purpose of the plan is to provide the framework for coordination and full mobilization of university and external resources in time of emergency. The plan clarifies strategies to prepare for, respond to and recover from an emergency or disaster incident that could impact the campus or the region. As a member of the campus community, you play a key role in this plan. Knowing what you will need to do in any emergency on campus is important to the plan’s success.

For information to help you prepare for most expected hazards, please visit the Campus Emergency Preparedness website at www.fullerton.edu/emergencypreparedness/. A wealth of information is available to assist you in preparing in advance for an unexpected emergency. Sample topics include:
