Monday/Tuesday, 8:00 am - 6:45 pm; Wednesday/Thursday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; Friday 8:00 am - 12:00 pm; no appointment necessary for walk-in advisement.

The Academic Advisement Center (AAC) is a resource for students seeking academic counseling regarding the General Education Program requirements as well as other graduation requirements and university policies. AAC advisors provide guidance in the selection of general education and elective courses. The AAC is also a resource to “undeclared” students who have yet to select a major. The Undeclared Resource Room located in UH-124 contains a library of information about each CSUF major. It is useful for both undeclared majors as well as other students unsure about their major choices.

Visit our website for important information including:
  • listing of approved General Education courses (the list may change each semester)
  • possible GE/major "double count" classes
  • specific information just for freshmen, including Advanced Placement Exam credit
  • specific information just for transfers, including first semester course recommendations
  • online Academic Guides for freshmen and transfer students
